1st $1000 plus trophy plus coat
2nd $250 plus trophy plus coat
3rd $100 plus trophy plus coat
To qualify for the championship point’s series the following criteria “MUST BE” met. Points will be awarded for registered and present participants at each event. Multiple entries do not equal multiply points. You must run 3 of 5 events to be eligible to qualify for championship points!!
Event Dates:
1. Fri. June 26th Putnam county fair (Ottawa, OH)
2. Sun. June 28th Putnam county fair (Ottawa, OH)
3. Sat Aug. 1st Lucas county fair (Maumee, OH)
4. Mon. Sept. 7th Hancock county fair (Findlay, OH)
5. Sat. Sept. 26th DOUBLE POINTS EVENT “IRON-MAN” Last call (Findlay, OH)
Points will be awarded as follows:
3 points = awarded for each event paid registrations and you are present & competing at!
1 point = awarded for qualifying for the feature via your heat!!
2 point = awarded for a FEATURE win
1 point = awarded for a Feature 2nd place
˝ point = awarded for a feature 3rd place
0 point = will be awarded at an event if you FAIL INSPECTION!!!
1. Most feature wins
2. Most feature 2nd places
3. Most feature 3rd places
4. Most features qualified for via heats
5. Most events entered
6. Good ole fashion “coin-flip”
Disqualifications:
q Total loss of points for that event will occur if a driver is disqualified from that event!!
q If a disqualification is deemed serious enough by the Points Series Committee that driver may possibly lose “ALL” points that has been previously awarded to him.
q If a disqualification is deemed serious enough by the Points Series Committee that driver may possibly be BANNED from any and all current and future events that are deemed necessary from that committee and/or fair board.
All 2009 Points series awards will be given out at the final event of the year (Findlay’s “IRON-MAN” Last Call). These will be given out as soon as the committee has verified all points given that day of the event. Your patients will be appreciated!!
